Commericals ? Really ?

I am so tired of seeing some of the stupidest commercials ever on TV.  Not only are they stupid and an insult to what is left of my brain, but they are simply totally ridiculous.  The ads are stupid, the products insane, and for the most part............they simply do not work.  A simple example is the Olde Brooklyn Lantern as pictured above.  I want to scream every time I see this dumb ass commercial on television. http://youtu.be/oDR6Vcu3oUc  .  Really. There is no power, but they are able to cook, drink a hot beverage and all other stupid things.
     I decided to google it and was amazed at all the comments. Mainly that it only lights up an area so close to where you are, and you can barely see it.  There is more, but it is too irritating to talk about.

Then of course is the Hurry Cane.   Give me a fucking break. Talk about a play on words ?  What does a ship and a pirate (without his eye patch) have to do with this ?

And this poor lady. Obviously she doesn't need her cane except to do a commercial. Why wouldn't she use a shopping cart ?  Is it me, or do these sellers think everyone is as stupid as they are ?

Of course there is always the Lint Lizard. It just goes on and on.  I am convinced that most of these products are invented in prison or mental hospitals.  It has reached a point of getting close to throwing something at the TV every time I see one of them.

       BUT.

Or. Some of these videos below.  Somehow I would rather watch these and guaranteed would be more apt to buy the product as opposed to some of the crap up above.

I guess that if we are forced to watch commercials, we should at least enjoy them.

Political Ads

   
I don't know about you, but I am so tired of seeing all these negative campaign ads that I can just scream. Living in a swing state certainly has something to do with it, but enough is enough. You can't even watch a sporting event, or your favorite program without almost every commercial being that for one political candidate.  (the above video is really funny)

It's not even the fact that elections are almost here. It's the fucking fact that each and every ad is a negative blast ad.  It's a fact that 70% of all campaign ads are now Negative.  That really says a whole bunch about our candidates.

There is no difference if it is a local, Congressional, or Presidential ad, they all seem to be saying and suggesting the same thing.  I feel like it is my ex-wife and me going at it again...He said, she said, you said, they said.....enough already.  I don't give a shit. I don't care if some future congressman got drunk 20 years ago and spent the night in jail. I don't care if Congressman so and so slept with a hooker in Washington 4 years ago...I really don't care.

One Lucky Politician

Negative campaigning doesn't do a thing for me. I have been writing this blog for about 2 years now , so negative shit does absolutely nothing for me. In fact, I probably am the king of negative crap, or at least had something to do with the invention of it.  Most of the negative ads are simply some sarcastic and ridiculous things.  I probably have written about it before.

I have no idea who Mimi is (above), but I guarantee you that I would vote for her without hearing her voice. I especially would not give a shit what her platform is. I can see enough of her platform to approve.  Her ad and her ability to have the balls to do such an ad has my vote.

Are all our leaders and potential leaders just too damn impressed with themselves ?  Where and when did they stop being people and become make believe people ?  I don't know if it is just me, or others feel like I do ?  All of us want to go out every now and then and have fun, have a few drinks, gamble, play some sports, go to a movie, get laid, have a beer, shoot the shit. curse, tell some off color jokes, have some secrets, watch a little porn, do regular day to day shit...Problem is ...............well it's You Tube, Twitter, Facebook, and all other social media has blocked any and all politicians from being Human......I think we would have a better country if this were not true.
