We all do it. There is not one of us who hasn't signed up for some app on their home computer, lap top, notebook, I Pad, smart phone, or any kind of computerized device made today. We have either gotten it for Free, or had the pleasure of paying for it. We wanted the fucking app and were willing to do anything to get it........We gave them our name, our tel #, probably had to get a user name and of course a password.....................................................and now we are good to go....
Oh, BTW, I left out one little bitty important thing.....Yes....we had to give those son of a bitches our email address. You know I left that out for a reason, and your probably grinning like hell now knowing damn well what is coming next.
These bastards now have us on their mailing list. It's not just a simple fucking mailing list, but one of the most complicated lists you have ever seen. Now we get not just information about the product or products we wanted, but emails about everything that has ever been remotely associated with that product. And for good measure, these fuckers have managed to give our email address to other business's they may own or be affiliated with. The nightmare has begun and you can expect emails almost every other day from them.
Sure you can unsubscribe (sometimes) but then you will miss the once in a blue moon special coupon or something important that you really do want. So your just plain fucked. You can stick it in your spam or junk email folder, unsubscribe sometimes, or just grin and bear it and manage to delete the damn things on a daily basis.
I cannot understand that in this day and age some of these unsubscribe sites tell you that it can take up to 2 weeks to remove you from their mailing list....What are we Fucking Stupid..???? All it takes is a click of a button on their part.
I happen to be on Plenty of Fish site and have been trying to cancel it for a year now. I have realized that it is an impossible task and just look at the site, laugh a little, and then delete it. Sometimes it's just not worth the effort.
Actually, what is worse than anything is trying to remember your password for any sites we are subscribed to. Some our letters, letters and numbers, upper case and letters, minimum of 8 letters, and so on.......Won't someone just invent a simple app for us to put our thumbprint on the screen and forget about all the passwords........Maybe someday.
Oh, and how many times have we hit the little print that says........."If you forgot your password, please click here and we will email you instructions on how to reset your password".
Tell me that has not bothered you at one time or another ?
And if you enter your email address below you will get personal daily pictures from her ????? NO....but it you enter your email address on CRaPUSA home page, you will get every new post delivered to your email box immediately.....And you can always cancel it without waiting 2 weeks, but please don't do that.
