Seeded Rye Bread Vs Rye Bread / bring it on

Rye Bread is so yummy, but what kind?  Yesterday, I happen to have been listening to Ron and Fez on XM and they were having an hour long discussion on Seeded Rye vs Regular Rye bread.  People were calling in and it was really funny.  Maybe one had to have been born in New York or LA, or a few other cities, in a predominant Jewish neighborhood to have enjoyed this.  This is like my egg cream blog of last week. Lets face it...............Rye Bread is only good when baked in a Jewish bakery and especially if it is seeded.  OMG, the thought of having rye bread without seeds is like having sex alone, or having corned beef without cabbage on days like today, or driving a car without wheels.  OK , that was lame, but you get the idea.  Rye Bread is becoming an endangered specie !!!! Real Bakeries already are.  The so called Rye Bread that is packaged in super markets sucks..The only thing it has in common with a good, freshly baked, seeded rye bread from a local family run business is the name.  Good bye Local Jewish Bakeries and Fresh Rye Bread........RIP............we will miss you.
