Really Now

Our Chief of Spies, General Petraeus. How strange that stuff like this comes out when it does.  I find it so funny this affair was deemed newsworthy after the election.
Forget the fact the head of the CIA was getting a little on the side. That is not the problem, because I can guarantee that half of you reading this are doing the same. (hopefully not with his mistress however).  How can you not be cynical knowing the head of the CIA was being watched without his knowledge ?  This guy was great and now a little piece of ass has ruined his career.  How does this differ from some of our past presidents and their affairs ?

What about Hybrid Cabs that were going to be the most cost cutting miracle for NY cab drivers.  They were going to save lots of money on fuel and make everyone happy.  Guess what ?  Repair costs have far exceeded savings at the pump.  I imagine I will be writing about electric cabs in NY sometime next year.
Usually I think most movie stars are really pieces of shit, but now I have to rethink that.  In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and it's devastation in the Northeast, I have seen some really good and cool stuff.  The above picture of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were seen in Rockaway NY helping some of Sandy's victims.  I think I just added this because it was a feel good story for once. Especially after those dumb ass remarks made by Chris Matthews the other day. ( "I'm so glad we had that storm last week " because the storm helped Obama win the election " )

Way to go Chris.  I am sure all the victims who lost their homes, and possessions love you for that. Sure you apologised , but, lets just leave it at that.
Bye Bye Allen West
And the above picture is my favorite. It's bad enough that I live in the most fucked up state when it comes to counting votes for any kind of an election.
No sooner than the 2012 presidential race results had finally been finalized in Florida (the "Ain't No Sunshine Come Election TIme" State of Confusion), and the attention had shifted over to the 18th U.S. congressional district race, where Democratic newcomer Patrick Murphy was announced as the upset winner over GOP Tea Party favorite, Allen West.
But, but but...this is Florida, and so nothing is quite what it seems - not when it comes to electoral politics.
While the Murphy win - by almost 2,500 votes out of a 330,000+ total - was announced, it was announced as "unofficial". Although all the final early, absentee and provisional votes had been counted by early Saturday, and although the .7% final margin of victory had exceeded the automatic recount requirement (less than a .5% margin), the West camp still filed multiple legal challenges to the results, including a request for a recount.  Well, this is still going on because West will not concede.......What makes matters worse is that it is in my district and I would like to see him run out of town.
Can't we all just play nice ? All Democrats and Republicans should give each other a big hug, play a game of pool, and act and speak nice to each other.   Really Now ??????
