I recently read some really funny crap regarding the recent bust of almost 200 mafia or mafia related people in NY. What makes this so funny are the nicknames associated with these fine gentlemen, and even worse............the unbelievable attire these fine gentlemen are wearing.
While the real Mafia leadership would roll over in their graves upon hearing their new names and looking at their attire, I will leave it up to you............................but......................of course......................that will not happen until after the NY Jet's game tonight.....................So.............check back...... ahhhhh....WTF. Getting excited about the game, so I better finish this now. When the Jet's win, I will be way to excited to write and if by some strange chance they lose.........well, I'll be too pissed to write, so here goes.
First of all, What is in a Name ???? We all remember the good old Gangster names. No need to remind anyone of them... But......What about these ? There was the famous Genovese Family founded by Giuseppe "Joe the Boss" Masseria back in 1931. He was killed by Lucky Luciano who took over the family. Then it was renamed after then boss Vito Genovese. But the other day the following in that family were arrested.Stephen "Beach" Dspiro, Nunzio LaGrasso, Richard "Dickie" Dehmer, Albert "the bull" Cernadas. Then we go to the Gambino Family and the Colombo Family, and the Lucchese Family, and the Bonanno Family etc. , but to keep this down to one page I am only going to list the NickNames of these illustrious gentlemen in no particular order......."Jojo", "Mush", "the Claw", "The Kid", "Junior Lollipops", "Fat Dennis", "Ren", "Big Anthony", "Sam the Plummber", "Bucky", "Baby Shacks", "Il Patrone", . My all time favorite was always the Bonanno Family Joseph "Joe Bananas" Bonanno. There was something about that name.
I really don't know if those names are funnier than some that I saw when I was playing Mafia Wars on Facebook? Whatever happened to Lefty, Shorty, Moose, The Slugger, ?????????? If you want to find out your Mafia name go to http://gangstaname.com/names/mafia and type in your name. You might get a kick out of that.
But let's get back to the clothing from this bust. Look below at some of these scary Dapperless Don taken during this recent NY bust . John Gotti would rollover if he saw these family bigs dressed this way..
Today's NY Post really does a great job of explaining this in detail. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/dapperless_dons_8EIG1hbmmLyCkZlvvD3tUJ?sms_ss=blogger&at_xt=4d3c6803c2c618d7%2C0 Click on this link for some stylish fun.
I don't know about you, but I remember and only want to remember the well dressed, cool looking gangsters that ruled in the 30's and 40's. They have always been fun to read about, watch as perceived in the movies and on TV, and always made for good conversation. These new guys really either need to step up to the plate or get some good women into the organization. It's time for some serious upgrading. I am totally ready for Jane "Maj Jong" Garafolo, , Sandra " twitter" Schwartz, Rebecca " NFL" Porcello, , Sally " 55MPG" Margani.... I can see the next big HBO series on Mafia girls ?????????????? Oh wait...........Jersey Shore is already taken...... Sorry
Now you know what Cynical, Ridiculous and Pathetic mean in one simple picture.
CRaPUSA / Cynical Ridiculous and Pathetic, aka "A Bronx Boy" Why CRaPUSA ? This has been my platform for many years, writing about just fun and offbeat everything. I had a blast, until I got bored a year or so ago. Well, with the political climate, Covid, and general conditions world wide, I thought it was time to get back to my roots. I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. Therefore, I am a Bronx Boy, which in my mind gives me the right to rant whenever I desire. So, hold on.
