Small Cans

I am a firm believer of small cans. In fact, one might say that I love a nice, small, simple can. Of course I am talking about a nice, small, young woman. In no way, shape or form do I like these new cans that Coke and everyone else are trying to pawn off on us.

Sure, I certainly realize all this nonsense from a business standpoint.....BUT.....WTF try to fool the Mid American Class of people that seem to believe everything they read or see on TV???
Why tell them "Smaller is Better", and it's a great way to cut down on calories ?  Any idiot with even a small amount of brain cells still working should realize that if you want to cut down on soda calories, simply don't drink it....OR......don't drink the entire can....Duh ???????? What do we live in ?   A Mad Avenue World of Bullshit.

"The Coca-Cola mini can is a great option for smaller thirst occasions, and for calorie-conscious consumers," said Hendrik Steckhan, president and general manager, Sparkling Beverages, Coca-Cola North America. "Our new sleek mini can supports the idea of moderation and offers people yet another way to enjoy their favorite Coca-Cola beverage."
Sure it does Hendrik......What if someone told you that your wife will be coming home tonight with her tits half the size ?  If they told you how sleek she is going to look in her newly reduced tits, which will allow her to buy smaller tops etc.  ??????? Get it Shmendrick ???

So now, lets get down to the real reason for this nonsense.  It's not for the good of the world. It's not to save precious metals. It's not to really have you cut down your calorie intake. But....it is for the soda makers to make more money.......A little common sense here....Less product and more money.....Profit 101 hard at work.

How would you feel if you had to pay $8.50 a gallon for gasoline?
Then why on Earth would you pay that much for water and high-fructose corn syrup?
That’s how much Coke costs in those new 7.5-ounce, 90-calorie cans.  Calorie-counters may appreciate the small size (90 calories) but dollar-counters beware:  We did a little math and it turns out that Coke in the new can costs between 50- and 140-percent more than Coke in the old 12-ounce cans.  Basically, Coke is charging two or three cents more per ounce for Coke in a smaller can—and this from a company that throws temper tantrums when lawmakers propose a one-cent-per-ounce tax on soda!
I once asked a group of retailing executives why the cost of smaller size containers was so high (surely the containers don’t cost that much.  They said: “if customers want smaller portions they ought to be willing to pay for them.”  Oh.
I just have one little thing to say to everyone as you pick up your new smaller can of soda...
