Gotta love the N.Y.Post

This morning while having coffee (and a bagel) at a local bagel joint in WPB and reading my NY Post (that is delivered daily to my home ) , I noticed something very strange.  There was another guy sitting across from me also reading the NYP.  Upon leaving, I said to him while displaying my paper....." I thought I was the only one in Florida that still reads the Post ".  He immediately answered that " I (meaning him) have been getting it delivered for 3 years now since I left NY and would not know what was going on without it.  When your a New Yorker, your always a New Yorker. "  We chatted for a few minutes and I left feeling better about my underground reading habits.  Another good thing about getting this newspaper is that nobody will ever take it from your front door.
     But of course the post does have the best sports ever, provided you are a NY Yankees, Jets, Giants, Knicks, and or Rangers fan..  It also has the best page in newspaper history, which is page 6. Page 6 is famous for letting one know who is f**ken who, who is stealing from who, who is about to get in trouble, and probably other raunchy stuff you can imagine.  In fact on any given day you will see stories similar to the ones I have listed below, which are from this mornings paper.
     Larry King has been sleeping with his sister-in-law. (Good for you Larry although you probably don't even remember doing this ).
     Ex Gov Eliot Spitzer gaining in NY polls with his possible comeback to politics. ( Does that mean going back to the beauty on top ? Ashley you are hot ??  And your Playboy spread is hotter. Ashley Playboy spread
     Tiger's wife saw a divorce attorney as Tiger putted the other day. ( Actually, the way he played over the weekend, he would be better off sticking to white, blond girls. )
     Kate Hudson had a boob job ??? ( Is that a big deal? )
   
     Lots of baseball stories and I can tell you every horse that won a race yesterday anywhere around NY race tracks.  I can probably give you a quick real estate lesson about every area in the city.
     Unfortunately, the one thing the NY Post does not mention much ( other than a few stories on page 8 ) is that of world news.  But then again.............Is there anything worth mentioning that is going on in the world ????????
     If only the NY Post could figure out a way to deliver fresh coffee and a toasted NY bagel with CC every morning .  Oh, would that make me happy.

     So, until tomorrows crappy blog on some other unimportant thing that is completely meaningless and has no social value ..................I say............Take a good look at CRaP.......
