At the gym this morning I overheard a conversation of where this woman and her friend should go for dinner Saturday night. This was during her treadmill crawl , and her 185 pound body pounding that poor machine. Actually, I discovered a new restaurant that I did not know about, but that's not the point.
Then there is the inconsiderate person talking on their phone while checking out in the super market or department store. How rude . Of course, my favorite is the yak, yak while seated in a restaurant. Sure, there are occasions when we need to speak in front of people, but can't it be done in a regular voice and not in the ball park voice ????? Now I really have to practice what I preach.
Larry, I couldn't agree more. I see guys riding their bikes yapping on the cell phones. The classic is guys in the john in a stall talking on their cells while you're in the men's room listening into their conversation over the sounds of bodily functions. I feel like the modern day crazy person is when someone is gesticulating wildly, apparently talking to themselves until you realize they have a bluetooth earpiece inserted. I've answered such nutjobs and then realized they weren't talking to me. Good one.
