amazon.com/idiots

       Last week I finally did something right instead of frantically waiting for the last second to get a present for my other granddaughter  for her birthday today. I actually ordered something educational on Amazon.com instead of going to Toys R Us, or one of those stupid places. And the fact that it would be delivered and gift wrapped.....so much better. The following accurately describes the events of today without too much exaggeration.  
     After spending too much time talking (was unable to access my account on line ) to the idiots at Amazon.com about delivery of an order that should have been received by today, I decided most people are really stupid. Let me explain, as this is really CRaP. . Earlier this week I received an e mail from Amazon.com stating that my account was compromised but there was no credit card information given so I really was not concerned. Several days prior, I had placed an order that was due to arrive by today, at the latest . I even received an e mail from Amazon with the order number and confirmation etc. Here is the good part. I checked my account which I was able to access 1,2,3, but could not get the shipping information as it required another password.  Why, I don't know. So I changed my password twice and again this did not work. OK, so after searching the web site for an hour, I finally found the tel # in a font that could not have been more than #6. Fortunately my seeing eye dog noticed it.  Called and managed to speak to the first non english speaking idiot that told me they were checking the account and it would take at least 2/3 days.  I then told idiot 1 that I wanted to speak to another idiot (preferably a supervisor that hopefully speaks english).  After waiting a while, idiot # 2 got on the phone who barely spoke english  and told me the same thing as idiot #1.After some not so nice language on my part, I got switched to idiot #3 who assured me he would resolve my problem.... he at least spoke some english. .(now it's my problem).  I gave him the shipping information, numbers and merely asked him to tell me if was shipped or not.  Not too much to ask.  Guess what????? Idiot #3 tells me he cannot access my account and get that information because it was being reviewed, but he  will put it on a priority list and I should have an answer in about 12 hours. I also told him it was charged on my credit card, so what is the problem ? While I also tried to explain this was a birthday gift and this is 2010 and information is instantly available, I realized I was pissing into the wind and the results would not be good......Bottom line of this story !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  20 minutes later I received a call from distant daughter #2 that she received a package from Amazon.com..........So, my FU of the day goes to you Amazon.com. along with your non English speaking idiots that work for you.
